Portrait of Lisa GreenbaumLisa Greenbaum E-RYT 500, YACEP based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. She is the Director of YogaFit Canada and a Senior Master Trainer for YogaFit with a specialty focus on Trauma-Informed Yoga as practiced through the YogaFit for Warriors Certification Program. She is also the Program Manager for YogaFit Australia. She has presented at numerous conferences Internationally including canfitpro world fitness expo, Addictions and Mental Health Ontario Conference and The Yoga Conference and Show in Toronto, and FILEX and the Ignite Yoga Summit in Sydney, Australia.

Lisa is the creator of the Warrior Ambassador Program, linking Trauma-Informed Yoga Teachers to Addiction and Mental Health Facilities. With a strong passion for fitness, yoga and movement, her goal is to make Yoga accessible to all. She shares her passion both through leading YTT certifications and teaching workshops and private clients at the YogaFit Training Centre in Toronto.

An avid writer and traveler, with regular contributions to Tonic, Optimyze and canfitpro magazines, Lisa is known for bringing an easy-going style to her teaching, encouraging everyone to honour and listen to their bodies and stay in the present moment.

Lisa has over 700 hours of YTT education, and has studied in US, Canada and India. She has been taught and mentored by Kristy Manuel, Shaye Molendyke, Felicia Tomasko, Beth Shaw and other YogaFit Senior Trainers as well as completed courses with Ray Long, Richard Miller, Liz Koch and Marla Erickson and workshops with Jason Crandell, Seane Corn and Sat Dharam Kaur. She is also a certified Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS) and Personal Trainer (PTS) with canfitpro. Lisa has been teaching group fitness and yoga in Toronto, Canada since 2001.
